The General Assembly of an International Secular Institute

The Oblate Missionaries of Mary Immaculate, a Secular Institute of women, will be holding its General Assembly from August 8 to 23 2015 in Quebec City, Canada.

Approximately thirty delegates from fifteen different countries will be attending.

The theme of the assembly is chosen in the light of the universal call of the Church for the new evangelization: “Go into the whole world and proclaim the Good News to every creature.” (Mark 16:15). Together, the delegates will identify key priorities for the next five years and elect women leaders for the next mandate.

The Oblates ask for your prayers so that they will respond to the calls of the Holy Spirit at this important time of their history.
