“God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.” (Jn 3, 1 – 17)
Dear members of Secular Institutes,
The mystery of Christmas amazes us with God’s extraordinary gift! God accepted a body to live the human condition as Gift. He made nothing appear: united to the Father, subject to his will, he became a servant of all, giving himself completely to us.
From the crib comes to us the call to live the Incarnation: this is the wish for all members of secular Institutes, so that in our various conditions of life, we can be a gift to others and to the world.
May Mary, Mother of the Incarnated Word, help us to have the courage to always seek new forms of incarnation that the world is needing today. It’ll be Christmas!
